Official Launch of SKWC Website

After having two seasons from hosting off of the official Kart Racing Pro forums, the Sim Karting World Championship makes a ground-breaking move away to its own forum and website, being the first successful league to branch off of the game's inner-community. While there were numerous reasons for the transition, it seemed to me mainly fueled by a position for an invitiational series stance, rather than the "open-arms" approach that was used when the series began. Initially, the league benefited from the format, with consistent turnouts of fifteen to twenty drivers for nearly every single event. However, this allowed the opportunity for drivers without intentions of racing to join in on the action, usually resulting in chaos and multiple drivers failing to finish.
This has fueled the new format for SKWC, with a complete universe of its own with accounts on nearly every form of social media, and supplying all of the needs of the league and its drivers that were previously supported by the Kart Racing Pro forums. Now, SKWC has the option to "cherry-pick" the best drivers for its series, with an almost 100% guarantee of the best racing action that Kart Racing Pro has ever seen. For more on the switch, we were able to catch up with SKWC Founder and Co-Owner, Braden Eves.
"I feel like this transition will help us chase out some of the drivers who don't deserve to be in the races," said Eves, "and that now with our own community of over 20 active members, we should be able to make out just fine."
Officially, SKWC does not have any current series running, but be prepared for some coming within the next couple of weeks down the pipeline.
