Braden Eves to Form New Team

Xander Clements September 26, 2014
After a successful run in the Rotax Junior championship, Braden Eves has made the jump from being solely a driver to now a team owner as well. Roughly a month and a half after the conclusion of the Summer Season in Sonoma, California, Eves has now made the official decision to launch his own operation in the Sim Karting World Championship, under the J3 Competition banner. Braden competes under the J3 Competition tent in his real life kart racing, at national events such as the Rotax Grand Nationals and SuperKarts! USA's SuperNationals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The confidence for more success is not lost on Eves, as when asked about the team's insurgence into the series, he had this to say. "I think the switch to the kf3 category will be good and should shake the field a little bit, [but] I'm looking to continue my upfront running, and will be looking for the championship." With full intentions of competing in each event this season, Eves should be a sure-fire favorite for the title.
The biggest question about the team and for Braden himself has been if they can really be competitive working alone as a single kart operation. When asked about this directly, Eves replied with saying, "Well, we have a couple of drivers lined up that we would like to go after with an offer, but I can't guarantee anything yet. Our goal is to have signed at least one more participant to team by the start of the upcoming season."
As the team begins to test for the new season, Eves has plans to update his old sticker package to the most recent model from the real-life team, exclusively posted on the Sim Karting World Championship forums.
